In this course you will have 5 hours to learn the basics of the stock market and use investment strategies to become a stock market master! You will have $10,000 of fake money to trade on the REAL stock market!
The course aims are as follows:
Increase knowledge of investment strategies and terminology
Learn about the value of long-term investments over short-term gains
Identify safe vs. risky bets by diversifying portfolios
Understand ethical investments and how to research effectively
Learn about crypto currencies and volatility
Understand generational trends and future market opportunities

These are your overall rankings in the Stock Market & Personal Finance Challenge. Each day will bring new activities that you can score points in. For example, if a you get the most points at Kahoot! or Quizlet Live, you will score 1 overall point here. The most points at the end of the week wins the Stock Market Challenge!

Welcome to UNIS’s “Save our Summer” Virtual Summer Programme. I hope your child will enjoy what is on offer over the next week. My name is Brycen Davis and I will be the facilitator for the Stock Market Challenge. Please find the week's plan here. All your child will need to participate in this course is their computer and an internet connection. We will be using Zoom, Jamboard, Padlet and a stock market education platform called Personal Finance Lab. You will receive your login to PersonalFinanceLab.com individually.
In this course your child will have 5 days to learn the basics of the stock market and use investment strategies to become a Stock Market Master! They will be given $10,000 of fake money to trade on the REAL stock market (trades will trigger in real-time @ 9:30 AM EST which is 8:30 PM Hanoi Time)
The course aims are as follows:
