Workshop Safety
Here you will learn about the tools that we have available to use in the design studios. You will then participate in the Orientation Safety Training based on your grade level and demonstrate your knowledge.
Each year, all students enrolled in MYP and DP Design Courses are required to complete a comprehensive workshop safety training. In the MYP this training is integrated into an orientation project. There are good reasons for the requirement of this training:
It will keep us all safe
It will allow student agency in projects.
It will remind us of behavioural expectations.
It will remind us of the best practices in operating our most commonly used tools.
