Using a Gantt chart to plan your unit
Look at the unit and what strands are expected - This list will strands in the far left column - Plan your time according to how long you feel each of these strands will take against the classes (timeline) across the top of the planner - The order in which you achieve these is entirely up to you!!

Approaches to learning
Backwards Planning
Use the template provided to plan out key dates, detail what needs to be completed by that date and what resources you will need. Backwards plan by starting at the bottom of the template with the final due date and working your way towards the top.
Process Journal
Step: Simple documentation of what step you are taking in the process (i.e. concept sketching).
~ Time: Approximate (~) time needed to complete the step.
Resources: List resources needed to complete the step (i.e. A4 paper, pencil and ruler)
Process: Brief description of the process you will go through.
Progress / Changes: Document actual time and any changes you made to the process.
